Did you know that the money being borrowed by the town for the SMART Cart Program will be reimbursed? Yes...call and ask the questions and get the ACTUAL facts on this program...you'll be surprised!
Fact: The 72K per year that we get from Casella was for Recycle Bank, a REWARDS program. Smart Cart is a punitive program. The plan would be shift those funds that could be going into education and enforcement to paying for buy garbage cans that many of us don't need.
On to the next challenge. Now let's shift to solving the real problem, which is enforcement of rules that have been around for 20 years and use that 72K to do some good.

The REWARDS program DID NOT WORK FACT and was not a part of the contract. A recycling program is. So what is your suggestion? I always read about your complaints but never see any suggestions. And if folks want to get the facts on all of this they need to call the Town Hall speak with the Health Director or the Town Manager. You only list what you want people to see, not all the facts. I believe you think your doing good, but by not presenting ALL the facts is very misleading and devious if you were to ask me.
